What is 1UP doing?
We are trying to get better every day, and here are some of the small steps we are taking to ensure a sustainable future.
Carbon Negative
We go way beyond being ‘neutral’ with green house gasses. We ensure that we more than offset all of our offices’ greenhouse gas emissions using Gold Standard.
Positive Impact Makes Positive Impact
Every 2 months, a 1UP team member selects a positive impact challenge for our team and a charity that is meaningful to them. Based on the team’s performance on the challenge, 1UP will donate money. If everyone gets 100% on the challenge, we double the donation. Talk about a win-win!
Lite on Flights
We know that air travel causes a disproportionate amount of climatic impact, so we try to balance this by always ensuring our travel is ultimately carbon negative.
Reduce & Reuse
We know that these two areas of sustainability need more attention than just relying on recycling, so we bring our own coffee mugs, and think twice before printing.
We like Good Business
We partner with great businesses and aim to help them grow. We also offer a discount to Charities, Certified ‘B’ Corps, or 1% for the Planet members.
