About Tourism Sun Peaks

Tourism Sun Peaks is a destination marketing and management organization mandated to promote Sun Peaks to the world. Founded in 1996, Tourism Sun Peaks is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization with 1,500 members representing accommodations, attractions, restaurants, retail and homeowners. Their mission is to raise awareness of Sun Peaks and increase visitation from target markets, with a vision to grow Sun Peaks’ reputation as one of the leading year-round mountain resort destinations in Canada.

Client Challenge

Tourism Sun Peaks’ challenges included holding reasonable summer and winter occupancy levels despite the global COVID-19 pandemic. They wanted to leverage the local market in lieu of international travel, with compelling marketing content to inspire Canadians to visit Sun Peaks at any time of year. Another challenge was launching summer campaigns in under two weeks. This included being active in-market with digital ads, meaning prompt asset gathering, campaign build & launch.
